Our Story
Family Founded
Our names are Cole and Layla Van Duyn. Together we own and operate Clarity Construction.
Cole grew up in Dell Rapids, South Dakota and has had a passion for building since his childhood. He earned his degree in Construction Engineering and Technology from Montana State University. While in school, Cole worked as a carpenter building many multi-million dollar custom homes which deepened not only his love for building, but for Montana as well.
Layla is originally from Kalispell and spent the later part of her childhood in Fort Benton, Montana before later moving back to the Flathead Valley. She earned dual engineering degrees from Montana State University. Being driven and detail oriented, Layla manages the business side of Clarity so that Cole can focus solely on making your dream home a reality.

Introduction
The first step is getting to know each other. Let’s grab lunch or coffee and talk about your vision: general concept, features to include, and budget. Once we have your dream on paper, we will set a clear plan to make it a reality.
Planning and Quote
Whether you already have an architect or designer chosen, have a lot picked out, or are starting from scratch; we can help you every step of the way. Once detailed plans are made, we will provide you with an accurate estimate which will serve as a guaranteed maximum cost.
Approval
When the plans are made and the estimate is finished, we are ready to get to work; but first, lets make sure that your expectations are met. With your approval first, we will proceed in getting all other necessary stamps from the proper authorities.
Building your vision
Clarity will carefully coordinate every step of the process. Our construction management tools will provide you with real-time updates on site activities. We will meet regularly to discuss upcoming events and any changes you may want to make.
Walk-through & Warranty
Once all is finished, we will walk through together and make a punch-list of any final touches to make sure that everything meets and exceeds your expectations. After getting your keys, we are still here to support you with our 12-month warranty.
